Our client is a high growth technology driven infrastructure services provider with ambitious expansion plans. Reporting to the CFO key responsibilities for the Financial Controller will include -

  • Build and lead the Finance Team (insource from current providers)
  • Manage all accounting and related processing activity, including
  1. Purchase to pay
  2. Order to cash, incl Billing control
  3. Capital expenditure, project costing and fixed assets
  4. General Ledger
  5. Cashflow and banking
  6. Payroll
  7. HMRC related – VAT and Tax returns
  • Ensure integrity of controls, and financial records, and compliance across the business
  • Lead preparation for the annual Audit and Statutory Accounts
  • Produce (timely and accurate) weekly and monthly management accounts and reports
  • Design roadmap for future finance and reporting systems, and drive implementation
  • Work with Colleagues across the business to identify and implement performance improvements
  • Assist the CFO in planning/budgeting/forecasting/prep board reports

You will be a Qualified Accountant with excellent communication and Excel skills. You must have a genuine appetite to work in a high growth SME. An appreciation of capital expenditure would be hugely beneficial. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to interact with people at all levels.
