Our client is a high growth VC backed multi-site healthcare company. This is a great opportunity to join an ambitious company with exciting plans. Reporting to the CEO key responsibilities will include –

Key Outputs

  • Timely and accurate preparation of financial results including; reviewing and understanding variances to budgets and forecasts
  • Production of monthly management / board packs including P&L, BS, Cash flow, KPI’s and ratio’s
  • Acting as a business partner to other department heads to assist in the management and optimisation of their departmental budgets
  • Implement and maintain financial policies and timetables throughout the business
  • Management and operation of all daily banking, reconciliation and cash management
  • Management of the purchase order, purchasing and payment process.
  • Oversight of monthly payroll.
  • Management of the legal sign of process and filing of all legal documents including company secretarial matters.
  • Manage and lead the finance team
  • Budgeting and forecasting including cash forecasting – including, treasury and working capital
  • Preparation of statutory financial statements
  • All aspect of tax compliance and planning
  • Primary day to day contact in the annual audit process
  • Preparing annual budgets and other ad hoc forecasts
  • Preparation of information requests for the various stakeholders
  • Liaison with external advisors, shareholders, suppliers and banks as required

Process improvement

  • Actively seek and propose efficiency/control improvements in financial management.
  • Business owner of general ledger processes and modules and other finance and reporting platforms.
  • Owner of finance and control manual.
  • Actively identify cost saving/efficiency and commercial opportunities across the company.

You will be a Qualified Accountant with a track record of building efficient finance teams. It would be hugely beneficial to have experience of working in a multi-site business. You must be a team player with an appetite to work for an SME.
