Our client is an innovative, high-growth, branded consumer business with a global reach. It is profitable, with revenues in excess of £50m last year (up from only £1m in 2014) and is at an exciting point in its development. The business now seeks a CFO to play a crucial role in the next growth phase of the business, ultimately driving the business forward to a shareholder event.

As a full Board member, the role will include all financial and corporate development matters; supply chain; treasury & taxation including foreign exchange management; liaison with investors, bankers and advisors; and the management of the overall finance function. International experience is important as is an understanding of manufacturing, warehousing, e-commerce, stock, inventory, supply chain, import/export etc.

The ideal candidate will have a background in consumer, e-commerce, branded goods, FMCG and will have worked in a growth company. They must be prepared to roll their sleeves up and get involved in the detailed financial issues of the company, as well as working with the CEO on strategy. A blue chip background coupled with hands on skills gained in a smaller entrepreneurial environment would be beneficial.
