Our client is a rapidly growing creative agency and they are now looking to recruit an experienced CFO to join a highly driven management team.  Reporting to the CEO you will have significant experience driving process improvements and will be seeking a highly visible role in a business that is well positioned to grow. 

Duties & Responsibilities

Key duties

  • Finance and management reporting function supporting the Board through the preparation of budgets and financial reports and providing advice and guidance on financial strategy
  • Manage systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company’s finances, including the financial control framework
  • Supporting and partnering the management team to deliver the company strategy
  • Management of external audit and banking relationships
  • Ensure accounting policies comply with relevant accounting standards and that company policies are followed
  • Working with the IT department to ensure all finance processes and systems are as fully automated thereby maximising efficiency
  • Assisting with all financial contracts with both suppliers and clients to ensure the business is both protected and well positioned
  • Support the Client Services team in the implementation and roll out of new contracts from a financial perspective
  • Support Client Services team in client facing pitches where finance processes and payment is a key factor for success
  • Company Secretariat, tax returns and reports for Government regulatory agencies
  • Risk & Compliance

Who are you?

  • A fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Experience of working in a hands-on role in an entrepreneurial business
  • A strong and up to date knowledge of IT systems and process management
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work closely and communicate with both financial and non-financial people
  • Ability to deliver fast ‘helicopter view’ commercial financial analysis as well as bottom up detailed modelling
  • A change manager who thrives working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing business risk
  • Previous transaction experience advantageous
