Interim Accountant ref: JMPI
Our client is a growing, private equity backed services business currently seeking an interim accountant to assist the finance team during a period of sustained change.
Salary: To £50,000 per annum pro rata
Location: Oxfordshire
This will be a ‘hands on’, technical finance role with specific responsibility for the financial reporting, process improvements, development of accounting systems and assisting the team through year end. As well as this there will be a need to contribute effectively to a range of ad hoc commercial and change management projects.
This is a highly visible interim role. You will be a technically strong accountant with a desire to work in a successful, fast paced business. You will be commercially driven and be excited by the prospect of working within a business going through significant change. You will be ambitious and will see this as an opportunity to develop professionally as part of an entrepreneurial finance team.

Interim Financial Controller ref: JMAL
Our client is an entrepreneurial services business embarking on an exciting period of growth. As a result they now seek to recruit an interim financial controller to assist the senior finance team in managing day-to-day finance during this period of change.
Salary: £250 per day
Location: Gloucester
This will be an extremely hands on, highly visible role and as such will require an experienced finance professional who is able to add value from day one. You will be strong technically, have excellent IT skills and be comfortable working in a project environment.
This is an initial 3 month contract but may be extended beyond that point.

Interim Financial Controller ref: JMKKR
Our client is a VC funded Services business currently seeking a Financial Controller on an ongoing interim basis to work closely with the Finance Director and senior management team.
Salary: To £400 per day
Location: West London
Responsibilities will include; production of all statutory and management accounts across the group, managing the budgetary and forecasting process, supporting the implementation of a new accounting system, supporting the Finance Director in developing the business plan and the daily management of a small finance team.
You will be a qualified accountant with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining robust financial controls. You should have an understanding of working within a business undergoing change and be able to develop and maintain relationships with both finance and non-finance counterparts. You will be technically competent whilst also being able to make ‘bigger picture’ commercial decisions. You will also have strong systems skills.
This is an interim role that requires someone to commence employment immediately and commit for at least 6 months. For the right person this could potentially become a permanent role.

Financial Controller ref: RDMAT
This is an excellent contract opportunity at a London-based fund advisory business founded in 2007 to make private equity investments in Africa. Our client is seeking a qualified Financial Controller to provide maternity cover and support the Financial Officer.
Salary: Up to £80k pro rata
Location: London
The Role:
Main duties and responsibilities:
· Monthly management accounts, quarterly investor reports (including fund financial statements) and annual statutory accounts (both standalone and consolidated)
· Audit preparation/ audit co-ordination
· Coordination of fund administrators
· Investor capital calls
· Budgeting and forecasting
· Expense management
· Payment of suppliers
· Payroll
· Quarterly VAT and monthly PAYE/ NI returns
· Ongoing procedures documentation
In addition, the role may include analysis of the portfolio and individual portfolio companies’ performance, compliance with fund, legal and regulatory matters and other general administrative functions.
This is a highly entrepreneurial environment and requires flexibility, commitment and a “hands on” approach to finance. The candidate, a self-motivator and independent thinker, will be a qualified accountant with a keen eye for detail. He/ she will also have excellent IT skills and be a strong communicator. Private equity experience is not a pre-requisite although is recommended.
